I have a little confession. I’m unapologetically a Germanophile. This blog chronicles my adventures of moving to and living among the Germans. In the U.S., I fell in love with my dude and learned about the cautious, steady species of the German male (I highly recommend them!). I’ll call him The Mann. His company sent him back to Germany and I decided to come along. OK, it was an easy decision. All he had to do was look at me with those serious, sweet eyes. I live and work in Cologne during the week and commute back home to the Frankfurt area for the weekends.

I’m originally from California but have criss-crossed the U.S. and now the world.

So put on your Birkenstocks (with socks!), grab a beer, and get ready for a most wunderbar time where nothing is verboten.
